Californians against the Canal is working around the clock to halt Governor Schwarzenegger’s freight train that is the Peripheral Canal.  The Bay Delta Conservation Plan that he is seeking to implement was designed by and for the billionaire agribusinesses that essentially control water exports from Our Public Trust!  This plan will destroy delta farms and communities, wipe out the largest run of Salmon on the west coast next to the Columbia, wipe out our Central Valley Steelhead runs, Striped Bass and Largemouth Bass.

The Founder Robert Johnson is working collaboratively with several other entities including the California Sportfishing Protection Alliance and Restore the Delta to fight for the Delta and Northern California / Southern Oregon fishing and farm communities.  WE WILL MAKE THE CASE LOUD AND CLEAR THAT THERE ARE FAR SUPERIOR PROJECTS THAT ACTUALLY PRODUCE MORE WATER FOR CALIFORNIA – AND COST FAR LESS!
